What we are
Next Door Grocer is a marketplace that connects neighbors who grow food with neighbors who buy it. We are not the seller; each grower sells their own produce and is responsible for it.
Paying
Payment happens only on the site, by card, through Stripe. There is a $10 minimum per grower. A service fee is shown before you pay. Paying outside the site is not allowed.
Selling
Sellers may list only what Oregon allows from home and must follow the labeling rules on the Seller rules page. A 5% commission is taken from each sale. Selling is free in a ZIP until it has 50 sellers, then there's a trial and a paid plan.
Pickup
Buyer and seller agree a time in the order chat. The exact address is shared only after payment. Be on time and be kind.
Cancellations and problems
If an order can't be picked up, either side can cancel before pickup and the buyer is refunded. For anything else, use Help and we'll sort it out.
Accounts
Keep your login safe and your details honest. We may remove listings or accounts that break these terms or Oregon law.
